Network for Democracy and Courage
The Network for Democracy and Courage (Netzwerk für Demokratie und Courage e.V. – NDC) is supported by young people who volunteer to promote a democratic culture and oppose human-hating ideologies. The main field of work for the NDC is organizing project days titled “Showing Courage for Democracy” at schools and training centers. These educational events are conducted by young volunteers. Together with the youth, they discuss racism, prejudice, and discrimination in order to strengthen civil courage and encourage active engagement. The JUZ Mannheim is a network partner of the NDC in Baden-Württemberg and serves as a meeting point and logistics hub for project day materials for the regional volunteer team in Northern Baden.
